Turnberry’s Findlay Andrew claimed victory in this year’s Byrne Howard Junior Open, played over the Portland Course at Royal Troon on Sunday 11 August.
Findlay shot an impressive two-under-par 68 to win the main prize, narrowly beating fellow Turnberry Member Gregor Hay on count-back to lift the prestigious Byrne Howard Junior Open Trophy. Rohan Neat of Ely City Golf Club in England rounded off the top prizes with an excellent score of 69 to finish in third-place.
